This week on It Takes Two, we have learnt...

- Shirley's "the CHICKEN!" meme has now reached It Takes Two.
- Janette wished she could have gone all the way with Ranj.  Is it safe to say that kind of thing in these post-kissgate times?
- The fact that she keeps getting eliminated in week seven has not escaped Janette's attention.
- Ranj's highlight of the entire experience was meeting Janette.
- Ranj thought he'd get further than week seven.
- Chloe is still a part of the It Takes Two family, and got to do Choreography Corner this week.
- Charles's Viennese waltz needed more swing and sway, and Faye should have been more down into her knees in her tango.
- Graeme was looking at Oti too much in the waltz, partly because he just wants to cuddle her.
- Charles' VW costume shrunk in the wash.
- Joe's paso jacket had a section made from safety pins.
- The celebs taking part in the Christmas special this year are Ann Widdecombe, Michael Vaughan, Anita Rani, Aston Merrygold, Jake Wood and Caroline Flack.
- The Christmas special is going to be fairy tale themed.
- Lauren and AJ want a nine this week.
- AJ does powerwalking to warm up before the show.
- The "JG" that was graffitied on the skate ramp for Lauren and AJ's performance is apparently Jack Gledhill, one of the producers, and AJ was trying to keep him sweet.
- Lauren finds the word "armography" inherently amusing, due to her disability.
- AJ is now 24, exactly half of Zoe's age.
- Lauren and AJ are doing the Viennese waltz this week.
- Zoe thinks 'if Strictly was a university course, we'd have a doctorate in it' which is not quite how the HE system works, Zo, but if you fancy doing a PhD on Strictly then you better come this way for a supervisor.
- Charles is a Tottenham supporter.
- Amanda Mealing would have gone full Connie Beacham on the judges if they'd kicked out Charles.
- Charles and Karen have a Charleston this week and Karen likes it because she often scores highly on it.
- KAREN LOVE CLEANING.
- Joe wants Charles' body.
- Paso is HARD FOR MEN because it's so masculine.
- Chloe is a fierce critic and should do Choreography Corner every week.
- Chloe thinks Danny is an underdog (?).
- Kate had her feet too flexed in her Argentine tango.
- Zoe's brother Nick was in the video for 'Mmmbop' by Hanson.
- Joe is dancing to it because nothing says 'down with the kids' like a 22-year old song.
- The show's idea of a comedy moon prop looks suspiciously like a Polo mint.
- Neil's got a weird new comedy dance tuition segment and it upsets us.
- Engelbert Humperdinck liked Graeme and Oti's waltz.
- Graeme forgot the entire waltz in the dress run so Oti went and cried on Johannes who told her to get it together and make him remember it.
- The tango and the waltz are the only two dances Graeme has enjoyed watching back.
- Graeme will be a fitness instructor in his spandex.
- He doesn't think Craig will approve.
- Graeme would like to point out that a spaceman is very different from a space cadet thank you very much.
- SID has been "dividing viewers" (ie everyone hates it) so they're having a vote on whether to pull the plug or not.
- You have to split your body in half to dance a quickstep.  So Debbie McGee's years of being a magician's assistant must have come in handy.
- The podcast is REALLY GOOD, you know.  Still not bothering though, sorry.  Even if it does feature everyone's mum.
- Gorka really wanted a picture with Rita Ora when she was in the other week but was too nervous to ask her.
- Giovanni thinks Craig should spend more time focusing on the dancing and less time on the props.
- You could arguably say the same to the choreographers #justsaying.
- Faye and Debbie have swapped numbers and are going to be messaging about Giovanni. My mind is racing already.
- Faye has to literally lift her legs up with her hands to get out of chairs these days.
- Pasha is wearing special straps on his bare feet in rehearsals to stop them burning.
- Ian hasn't done much contemporary dance but he has done a bit of rolling around on the floor.
- Danny's training footage looks very velociraptory - Brucie tribute, anyone?
- Ian wants to call Charles 'Charles the Cat'.  Because he's had so many lives, not because he's getting him confused with Danny.
- Zoe thinks Morris dancing should be included in couple's choice.  Never give them such ideas, even in jest, Zoe.
- The paso became Joe's favourite dance.
- Joe thinks a 10 is "quite far off".
- Joe is Matthew Bourne's twink of choice this year.
- Joe's perfect body is quite scary looking.
- Joe was a good boy at school.
- Craig is now following Joe on the social medias.
- Giovanni is the biggest diva backstage.
- Luba's favourite holiday destination is Italy, as is Giovanni's, and Dianne's is Bali.
- Dianne's favourite dance move is the samba batucada, Luba's is the Cuban break in a cha cha, and Giovanni's is jive kicks 'n' flicks.
- Giovanni is still proud that he made the Guinness record for kicks'n'flicks.
- Giovanni thinks the rumba is the hardest dance to test a female celebrity. Luba thinks that it's too technical to do properly with just a week of training.
- Giovanni thinks the rumba and cha cha are hardest to teach because they highlight the female celebrity's legs and feet.
- The viewers have voted to switch off SID. #willofthepeople
- Waite's Warm Up apparently doesn't extend to him swotting up on the contestants' names. (Poor Lauren.)
-  Ian thinks Joe's samba is looking good.  Shame they didn't choose a clip of a good bit to illustrate that comment.
- Danny calls Ranj 'Dr Ranj' for those interested in micro-analysing the clues about inter-cast relationships.
- The dress rehearsal of Danny's quickstep was the bestest dress rehearsal in the history of dress rehearsals.
- Samba requires a pelvic bounce, a washing machine and being sick.
- Oti's being dressed as the Green Goddess on Saturday.
- We're at the stage in the series where everyone's losing weight and wardrobe have to keep adjusting their measurements.
- They have FINALLY used Roxette's 'Dressed for Success' in the wardrobe segment.
- Kate and Aljaž are going to be wedding cake toppers for their quickstep.
- Kevin loves street/commercial so much that he had his and Stacey's routine planned as soon as he heard it was being added to the show.
- Their street commercial was apparently Kevin's favourite ever routine.  Zoe thinks Susanna, Susan and Louise will be on the phone complaining.  The Kellie and Frankie shade of it.
- Connecting the idea of 'thug life' with Kevin Clifton will never not be funny.
- When Stacey first told her mum she was doing Strictly, her mum wanted to book a hotel for Blackpool, but Stacey wouldn't let her in case she jinxed it.
- Stacey hasn't seen Breakfast At Tiffany's but she did recognise 'Moon River' from the Galaxy advert.
- Kate is just going to remember her Argentine tango as it was on Thursday rather than how it was after her ribs fell out.
- If Kate gets to Blackpool she’s going in the sea.
- Kate misses Lee.  I forget he was even on the show most of the time.
- This week's remembrance pro dance will be Amy-centric and focused on the women who fought to be pilots as a tribute to the RAF's centenary.
- This week’s Friday panel was Martin Kemp, Brian Conley and Michael Bolton. That’s it. No one else.
- Michael Bolton is now a 'social activist' apparently.
- Martin Kemp loves Stacey and Kevin’s acting.
- Michael Bolton sure blinks a lot these days, huh?
- He seems to think Stacey is singing 'Moon River' rather than dancing to it as well.
- Everyone in the studio wants Kate to get to BLACKPOOL.  BBC bias, call Ofcom etc.
- Lauren got AJ a cap with an A on it for his birthday, and made him two cakes that were meant to look like pineapples but didn’t.
- Giovanni’s present for AJ was “Monday morning love”. *look to camera*
- Amy definitely does not feel threatened or bullied by Danny.
- Ashley is growing to love ballroom.
- Ashley has never been to Blackpool.
- Zoe is impressed that her from Homes under the Hammer got emotional at Ashley and Pasha's foxtrot.
- Stacey does an Oti impression. It sounds not unlike Mickey Rooney in Breakfast At Tiffany’s.
- Stacey does not seem to be into the waltz, but Graeme will happily dance it with Kevin instead if she doesn't want to.
- Turning the end of a hairgrip into a hook shape helps it stay in the hair longer.
- Brian thinks Charles is undermarked.
- Martin has probably worn spandex at some point and he would consider doing the show, and so would Shirlie.
- Michael has no idea who's going home because he doesn't know what's going on.  Martin thinks Graeme.  Brian doesn't think Amy and Danny.
- Stacey will be dancing in an underskirt because she 'wants less foof' - surely an underskirt is more likely to show foof?
- Wardrobe have already started work on the Blackpool costumes.
- Gethin always gets his outfit wrong for Blackpool.

I was hoping you might hammer Joe again for dad-joking that he though flamenco was a bird. The game-playing is wearing a bit thin now.

After sitting through years of this show I now just zone out when those things happen!

Same - I'm just pretending it never happened.
