This week on It Takes Two, we have learnt...

Monday

- Anneka feels like she ran away to the circus on her gap year but has just come home to a pile of ironing.
- Rylan didn't realise Anneka's dance was meant to be a charleston.
- Anneka never wants to hear 'Woo Hoo' again, because it did her head in during rehearsals.
- If nothing else, Kevin has taught Anneka to clap in time to music.

- Clare Balding was an Anneka fan.
- Anneka would have had the paso this week if she'd stayed in.
- She was going to wear red lipstick for the first time in her life and it would have been Peaky Blinders (available now on iPlayer) themed.
- Anneka went out shopping today and went to buy dresses.
- Anneka is not here for indulging Rylan's 'you did enjoy handling a stick' innuendo.  [Celebrity Bake-Off producers - that's her scratched off the list]
- Anneka didn't really like getting dances where she had to run around and be silly and would rather have done more floaty ballroom.
- Katya (Virshilas - she lives!) didn't see many charleston steps in Kelvin's charleston.
- Katya V thinks that wearing the Batman mask meant that David couldn't show his personality. (We're not convinced.)
- Katya V was glad Johannes and Catherine did a proper rumba rather than what usually passes for one on this show.
- Katya V thinks Dev will struggle with 'proper' Latin and ballroom.
-Aljaž thinks the slower the dance, the harder it is.  Tell that to your sambas.
- Not only is jive hard for tall people, it's now hard for anyone over 5 feet.
- If you want to get Aljaž to do what you tell him, just give him a bell. (As in a literal bell, don't phone him.)
- THE VISCOUNTESS and Aljaž have the jive this week.
- THE VISCOUNTESS is still cooking lunch for Aljaž. Whether it is still salmon(!) remains unconfirmed.
- There will be a wall (and "wallography") in THE VISCOUNTESS and Aljaž's jive.
- Aljaž's niece has just turned 1.
- One of the Strictly hairdressers has 'CHOP' written across his knuckles.
- Gorka calls Jack Sparrow 'Jackie Sparrow'.
- Rylan believes that Mike slid down the biggest pole in Strictly history (insert Ola Jordan joke here).
- Katya (Jones) isn't really letting Mike getting a word in edgeways.
- Katya shouted "carry on!" to Mike when she fell.
- Katya has been inducted as the first member of Strictly's Fall Of Shame. (Hang on, shouldn't Ian Waite be in there? And Kara Tointon? And Pamela Stephenson, even if she didn't go all the way over?)
- Mike is doing a quickstep this week.

Tuesday

- Bruno Mars is apparently enough of a part of the Strictly family that he gets a birthday shout-out (!?).
- David's hair is looking very voluminous at the moment.
- David and Nadiya are dancing the quickstep to something from The Greatest Showman this week. Rehearsals don't appear to be going so well.
- Apparently the song makes him think of coming back to England after playing overseas.  OK....
- Katya (Virshilas) thinks Emma (Barton) was afraid to be silly during her salsa.
- A paso should look like a suitcase coming out at Heathrow airport.
- Katya (Virshilas) has watched Moana 30,000 times.
- Katya (Virshilas) thinks that women shouldn't dance barefoot, and especially not in a rumba.
- Rylan's hip action is looking good.
- Vicky Gill draws outfits on a Sunday, they start making them on Monday, they are making love by Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday and Saturday.
- They have body suits for men that look like shirts with underpants.
- Mike has lost nearly a stone and the wardrobe team need to take his measurements again.
- Kelvin split his trousers during the dress rehearsal last week.
- Rylan drew some mock-up costumes for a gag and put Michelle in green, the troll.
- THE VISCOUNTESS and Aljaž will be doing a jive to 'Kids In America' by Kim Wilde.
- Emma and Anton will be doing a Viennese waltz to 'Send In The Clowns'.
- This means that Emmas Barton and Bunton will have both danced to it, to make matters marginally confusing.
- Chris and Karen are also doing a jive, but this one is to 'Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting'.
- Johannes felt like he was dancing with a professional dancer during Catherine's rumba on Saturday.
- Catherine and Johannes's characters for their charleston this week are Diamond and Precious respectively.
- Karim's mum is still delivering food - but via this show, rather than directly, apparently?
- Anton has never trusted Craig's eyesight and now he feels vindicated.

Wednesday

- Zoe's well again!
- Alex worked really hard on her rumba footwork and was really disappointed that the judges didn't say anything about it.
- Alex and Neil have "entered the record books" as the only couple to increase their score by one point for the first three weeks, which makes us think that they are just handing out records like sweets now.
- Alex will be Spicy Scott for her tango and Neil will be Brad-Lee Jones. It's not exactly Precious and Diamond, is it?
- Alex namechecks Justin Bieber to help her remember the steps, e.g. "Bieber-Bieber-hey!"
- Catherine needs more swivel in her right foot for her charleston.
- Johannes is straighter than Catherine. (In the leg)
- Chris needs to wind his neck in. So that it's pointing upwards and not hunched over, you see.
- Anton and Emma are training in a room with some godawful inspirational messages written on the backboard.
- Either they picked some deliberately unflattering footage of Saffron and AJ's contempowaft routine or it is going to be a car crash for the ages.
- Karim needs to stop opening his hips at any opportunity.
- David and Nadiya's quickstep is looking more like a charleston.
- Karim's got "the lurgy" (direct quote) so poor Amy had to do It Takes Two on her own. Again.
- Karim fluffed it a bit on Saturday because 'he got too into the panda character'.
- Karim's mum made him some meatballs... and delivered them to the ITT studio rather than to him directly?
- Dev wants to look sexy.
- Michelle has a nude coloured training top that flattens her bosom and makes her appear naked.  It is the worst outfit seen on this show since Karim and Amy's costumes on Saturday.
- Oti is punishing Kelvin with press-ups and sit-ups.
- Zoe is obsessed with Emma and Anton's salsa.
- Emma says she's working on the two biggest shows on the telly - if she's on The Great British Bake Off as well as this and the day job then no wonder she's tired.
- Emma wasn't very supportive of Anton in his row with Craig because it made great television.
- Anton with Rylan's veneers is so scary that we didn't need to see it outside of Halloween week thanks.

Thursday

- Why can't you blindfold a Pokémon? Because it will Pikachu.
- How do you get Pikachu on a bus? Pokémon.
- Zoe thinks 'techers' is good slang for 'technical' but Will isn't convinced.
- The foxtrot isn't great for Will's disability because it relies on the ankles a lot.
- Zoe weighs 12 stone.
- Alex needs to banana her body.
- Michelle's taken to wearing green socks with red shoes in training.  ITALIA.
- Kelvin's legs are surprisingly hairless.
- Ian wants Will to break himself in the middle.  Sounds painful.
- Ian thinks Chris has improved the most in training this week.
- Michelle's glasses appear to be getting larger by the week. If she makes the full series she'll just be looking through one giant monocle that covers her entire face.
- Michelle mainly sees her flaws when she watches back her routines.
- Michelle and Giovanni have lucked out with their song choice this week.
- Giovanni is still up for doing drag.
- Giovanni pronounces priority 'pree-ority'.
- Catherine's upcoming dress is the shortest they've ever made.
- Everyone's always badgering the wardrobe team to try and get what they want.
- Dev and Dianne took a lift out of their street routine after he dropped her in rehearsals.
- Nobody wanted to come near Dev backstage when he was painted blue.
- Dev showered in the male pros' dressing room to get the paint off.
- Dev rehearses whilst on the phone.
- Dianne is very pleased with Dev's hip action.  Nobody tell Joe!

Friday

- AJ's fake tan is so extra it's staining his shirt.
- Saffron doesn't breathe when she's dancing.
- Saffron's nan, who cries at the song she's dancing to this week every time she hears it, is coming to the show this weekend. So that should be fun.
- Emma B loves the Viennese waltz, especially the spins, the glorious weirdo.
- Catherine can't pat her head and rub her tummy at the same time.
- Karim can't do serious face.
- Supermarket Sweep is Johnny Ball's favourite new show.
- Friday panellist Richard Osman doesn't care about Karim and would rather watch Mike.
- Friday panellist Nicki Chapman watches this show religiously, refers to moments from earlier in the week, and is a little miffed she's never been asked to be on the panel before.
- She also hates barefoot dancing.
- Zoe is surprised that a rumba can occasionally be good.
- Rylan DJed for the first time ever on Thursday night.
- Karim is well again but Amy is now poorly.
- Karim is better at identifying dance styles he hasn't done than ones he has.
- This week's pro dance is a kitchen sink routine of contemporary, leg stretches, poles, kneepads and 'floorography'.
- Kelvin made a gif of Oti's reaction when the charleston scores came in.
- Oti will be happy 'later on, when we've got more 10s'.
- Kelvin and Oti's charleston is the highest scoring week three dance ever.  As long as we don't count the week Donny turned up.
- Oti has scored a total of 28 tens during her time on the show, not counting Christmas specials.
- Oti forces Kelvin to do press-ups and sit-ups if he doesn't get his footwork right, but she's been getting a bit slack with him recently.
- Emma B has a 'keep dancing' T-shirt #thoopafan.
- Emma B has not experienced the Viennese waltz sickness.
- Chris got detention at school for not having his shirt tucked in, and he really wishes he'd had one of those special Strictly shirts that comes pre-tucked into your underwear.
- Chris can still remember how to do a feather step properly.
- Chris has been looking on YouTube and believes that Fred Astaire does indeed to the floppy basketball hands.
- Chris can't shut his mouth during the jive.
- The men on the Friday panel are more interested in the training rooms than the dancing.
- Nobody thinks the VISCOUNTESS is going to do a good jive.
- Richard Osman is a Motsi fan.
- Friday panellist Tom Allen thinks Mike is going home this weekend, Nicki Chapman thinks it will be David, and Richard Osman thinks that statistically it's most likely to be Emma (because there's two of them) but it will probably be David.
- Scouting for Girls still exist.
