This week on It Takes Two, we have learnt...

Monday

- Rylan is still calling Emma "Honey Emma" even though there's only one Emma left now and it has been that way for a while.
- Saffron needs a new activity to create content as she doesn't know what to do with herself now.
- AJ thinks their samba was a 'great dance' and 'underscored'.  O...kay?
- AJ believes that the fans saved him and Saffron but the judges sent them home. O...kay?
- AJ believes Saffron is the true winner of the series. O...kay?
- Saffron's already forgotten some of the dances she did.
- Saffron had one move of her own in every dance they did.
- AJ wants Chris to win. Saffron loves everyone but would quite like Karim to win.
- Katya can't pronounce 'Tonioli'.
- AJ wants us to know he is always the first one ready on a Saturday.
- Katya got together with Mike yesterday and they watched his exit conga again.
- Katya's been doing botafogos for over 20 years - and boy, are her legs tired!
- Katya scored 36 botafogos after two deductions.
- Emma got carried away in her quickstep and ad libbed more kisses to the crowd than she'd rehearsed.
- Apparently Emma mouthing "come and get me, boys!" was an ad lib too because Anton didn't know anything about it.
- Emma was really hoping for a "fab-yew-lous" from Craig for her quickstep because she thought it would be right up his street.
- Emma and Anton are sticking to the story that they only had 'one hop out' in their quickstep.
- Vicki Michelle off 'Allo 'Allo liked Emma's quickstep.
- Emma and Anton will be doing a charleston to 'Thoroughly Modern Millie'.
- Emma likes having prop dancers because it feels more like a show.

Tuesday

- The show has apparently forgiven Nicole Cutler for selling those stories after she was axed.
- Nicole is rocking the silver hair these days - and has shoes to match,
- Nicole wasn't particularly surprised that Saffron went home.
- Nicole is a big fan of Chris, he reminds her of Darren Gough.
- Nicole didn't like Kelvin's street/commercial either. We have no choice but to stan.
- Alex and Neil are doing a samba (eek) to 'Joyful Joyful' from Sister Act 2: Back In The Habit.  Which is a movie, not a musical.
- Kelvin and Oti are doing an American smooth to 'Gaston' from Beauty And The Beast!
- Chris and Karen are doing a foxtrot to 'Consider Yourself from Oliver!.
- Anton has managed to only do 5 pro challenges despite being the longest-serving pro.
- Anton did 60 "botafogos" in the pro challenge and had 54 disqualified because he didn't cross his legs, leaving him with a total of six.
- The cha cha cha looks really rubbish slowed down.
- The caption writers have taken to dragging on Karim now, calling him a 'Mummy's boy'.
- Amy thinks that when you get down to six couples in the competition you have a 50:50 chance of being in the dance-off.
- Karim thinks being in the dance-off made it easier to have some emotion in his dance.
- Amy told Karim to leave his soul on the dancefloor, so presumably he is now just a hollow husk.  Might cry less, I guess.
- Karim's mum doesn't want to come and watch any more.
- Couple's choice was the dance Karim was most looking forward to, the weirdo.
- A fan has blamed Karim's drop into the dance-off on the fact that this was the first time he hasn't done a high-kick in his walkdown at the start of the show.
- Karim and Amy are jiving to 'You Can't Stop the Beat' from Hairspray.  Dear show: other song choices are available.

Wednesday

- Karim is giving good tunny tucking in his training footage.
- Anton's charleston training footage looks godawful (Emma's looks fine).
- Ian is struggling to find any foxtrot in Chris's training footage.
- Craig's on Dancing With The Stars in Australia and his family don't like him being so mean because they actually have to live there.
- The Australian series has been going since 2004.
- Australia kind of muddied the waters on the whole same-sex couples thing by having Courtney Act perform in drag every week (as Courtney put it: "biologically we were a same-sex couple, but visually we were an opposite-sex couple") - but then for Fusion Week Courtney went out as Shane (her real name) and they were a proper same-sex couple. Hooray!  (Although they still have Fusion Week?  Poor Australia).
- In Australia the dance-off works very differently and the two couples go head-to-head with the same dance.
- In Australia they have 'heartfelt themes' which just sounds like a load of old Couple's Choice.
- In Australia they actually did that "Judges' Challenge" thing that we were meant to do over here this year but got quietly binned.
- Dianne actually took the pro challenge seriously, bless her.
- Dianne racked up 64 botafogos with no disqualifications and is now top of the leaderboard.
- Alex and Neil got stuck together more than once during their Argentine tango.
-  Alex was more upset that she got the routine wrong than that it got a 4.
- Alex wanted to do 'Joyful Joyful' for Movie Week (BECAUSE IT IS FROM A MOVIE) but Neil made her wait for Musicals Week so that they could do it with backing dancers.
- Neil really wants to get the backing dancers properly involved because he was a backing dancer for all those years, bless him.
- The voters on one of those flash poll things preferred Faye's 'Lonely Goatherd' charleston to Alexandra's Mary Poppins one (which went into the bottom two back when it was performed so why it was even an option here is confusing to me) and Abbey's salsa (which WASN'T EVEN A SALSA DON'T GET ME STARTED).

Thursday

- Vicky Gill thinks Alex and Neil's wardrobe malfunction just proves they had good body contact.
- Alex will not be playing a nun on Saturday.
- Zoe would like the figure of one of Vicky Gill's sketches for Christmas.
- Vicky's taken to listing the size of crystals being used for the costume geeks out there.
- Vicky doesn't like adding crystals to white because it looks like polka dots, apparently.
- Oti is always on the phone when Neil's around, but won't answer his phone calls, for those interested in DRAMA.
- Dianne has a phobia of answering the phone.  Same.
- Nadiya wouldn't run, she'd get a taxi, and Johannes doesn't run anywhere either.
- Aljaž broke the Slovenian record for running 300m at the age of 13.
- Luba has been 'gifted' with  Richard Arnold for the Christmas special.
- Nancy thinks the pro challenge was easy.
- Nancy did 70 botafogos with no disqualifications - and so did Luba! So they're currently joint top of the leaderboard.
- Nancy says she'll 'try my best' to keep the record. Luba thinks they won't win overall because she;s been here before and knows they always save the winner for last.
- The big pro dance this week will be Hello Dolly themed.
- Anton and Kevin are duetting on Saturday, oh goody. Anton doesn't yet know the words.
- Chris doesn't pay much attention to the running order.
- Chris was planning to faff about after their dance to get shorter judges' comments (learned from Anton, presumably) but when he saw Motsi and Shirley standing up, he thought they'd be OK.
- This is the first week Chris hasn't said that he hated the dance.
- Chris is touching wood almost constantly.
- Chris is playing the Artful Dodger and Karen is playing Oliver.
- Chris's foxtrot looks like it still...well, let's just say it contains minimal foxtrot.

Friday

- Alex wasn't sure if she was doing samba rolls in her routine or not. Doesn't bode well, does it?
- Alex is unfamiliar with the West End musicals Waitress and Bat Out Of Hell.
- Emma's FACE is ready for Charleston.
- Chris looks like he's had a haircut.
- Some men in the studio audience are really into Kelvin.
- Kelvin's tan has got a bit out of hand.
- Zoe thinks Kelvin's VT is the most emotional Couple's Choice VT.  She wasn't watching Will's then?
- It's Kelvin and his wife's anniversary this week.
- Oti claims she goes into the pros' WhatsApp group every week and moans about Kelvin not getting the routines.  I bet she is suuuuper popular.
- Kelvin asks Oti's permission to go to the loo.
- Zoe doesn't really know the words to 'Gaston'. (You know, the one that goes 'No-one's a dick like Gaston, no-one's thicc like Gaston, no-one's built like a shithouse of brick like Gaston' etc)
- Kelvin has always wanted a ponytail so he's very excited by this week's wig.
- Kelvin's daughter loves Gaston even though he keeps trying to explain that he's a baddy.  You k now what they say about girls and bad boys, Kelvin.
- Oti lost her voice at the start of the week.
- Kelvin still thinks his 'prank' on his dad Warren was hilarious, so the show repaid the guilt debt Kelvin won't pay himself by reading out thirst tweets about him and getting him to dance.  Would have definitely rather watched than Kelvin's street/commercial.
- This week's Friday panel is Mel Giedroyc (from Company), Layton Williams (from Everybody's Talking About Jamie) and Amy Hart (...from Love Island).
- Amy wants to know who else has been a substitute and what talent we might have missed out on.
- Layton went to (stage?) school with Karim.
- Layton doesn't know the word 'pert'.
- Mel thinks Emma and Anton will go home this week, Layton thinks Alex and Neil, and Amy thinks Karim and Amy.
